The Beer Hall

The Beer Hall is a showcase for real ale. It has a Cask Marque award for serving "the perfect pint." The Beer Hall is the Hawkshead Brewery tap, but within it are many things --two bars (the new Main Bar open every day & the River Bar, our dance hall/function room for hire) The Beer Kitchen, The Beer shop and the conference room. Windows throughout and a walkway through the building allow the public to see into the brew house, the Main Bar cellar, the temperature controlled beer shop and the new fermentation room, which is in the main bar. The main bar is built around two new stainless steel fermenting vessels, which rise through the first floor. The bar in The Beer Hall is fully licensed. We sell not only all the Hawkshead beers, but also a range of what we consider the best soft drinks, spirits and wines. We import our own wine from small independent growers, we know personally, in Bergerac and The Loire. We sell superior wine at sensible prices. Our House Whisky comes from Gordon & Macphail. |

| Parties and Conferences |

The Beer Hall's River Bar can be booked for private functions.There's a 7 metre long bar and 120 square metres of oak dance floor. DJ's/Discos and bands can be organised. There is no charge for room hire if you choose your event to be catered by The Beer Kitchen. We have a conference room that can be booked for private use for up to 20 people. The upstairs area of the main bar can be reserved at no charge for 10-40 people at no cost. The Beer Kitchen can cater for small or large functions at a high quality. |

| Beer Festivals |
|
We have two Beer Festivals a year. A Spring and Summer Festival, with over 50 beers, all served on hand pulls from our cellars. The beers we serve at these events include SIBA champions -- winners of the annual Society of Independent Brewers' competition. At the summer festival we run 3 bars -- the third being in a marquee with live music. For information on upcoming festivals please check the Beer Festivals page. |

| Brewery Tours |

Brewery tours take place on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 2pm. Please call 01539 825260 to book your slot. We can also pre-book groups for tours at any other time (Monday-Friday), by prior arrangement, please ring 01539 825260. The cost of a brewery tour is £6.50 per person and includes either a pint or two halves at the end of the tour. The tour includes a short film and lasts between 45 minutes to an hour. The tour includes steep stairs and is unsuitable for wheelchair users. Enclosed sensible footwear is essential. |
