Red

Red (abv 4.2%) originally called Best Bitter. A Red Ale. Bitter-sweet. First comes the sweetness of the dark crystal malt, which gives it the red colour, and then the long dry finish. A beer for those who like their ale to have some colour and taste of malt.   Also in bottles at 4.4% abv.

The Beer Hall is the brewery tap and a showcase for real ale. It has a Cask Marque award for serving "the perfect pint" and is in The Good Beer Guide.
Open 7 days a week and in the evenings is for hire as a party venue. There is also a conference room, which seats 20.
