Our latest Cask Session Series brew - Jantar - is a Polish amber ale at 4% ABV.
Developed by brewer Mark the recipe incorporates two Polish hops - Junga and Marynka as well as some Bramling Cross, a British variety, for bittering. Junga adds grapefruit, spicy & blackcurrant aromas and flavours to the beer while Marynka, used for dry-hopping, adds very floral, herby & resinous notes. Amber malt gives good body and a light biscuit flavour to the beer.
Named after the Polish word for ‘amber’ Jantar is available in cask and is out for delivery to pubs and bars across the country from Friday 17th onwards. It will feature on the bar at the brewery tap, The Beer Hall from week commencing 20th February.
