We're delighted to have been nominated as finalists in two categories at this year's Cumbria Life Food & Drink Awards: Best Large Producer and The Marketing Innovation Award.
As a finalist in the Marketing Innovation category we were praised for our creativity and innovative use of marketing channels. Awards host and TV presenter Helen Skelton congratulated us on developing the first brewery sales app in the country.
Our congratulations go to all the worthy winners.
It was great to see so many customers of the brewery in the list of finalists; The Wheatsheaf - Brigsteer, The Sun Inn - Kirkby Lonsdale, Pig & Whistle - Cartmel, The Drunken Duck - Ambleside, George & Dragon - Clifton who all take Hawkshead beers in either cask or keg form, Ginger Bakers - Kendal who use Brodie's Prime in their chocolate cake, Baba Ganoush - Kendal, Linthwaite House - Windermere and Old Stamp House - Ambleside all stock our bottled beers.
The awards, now in their fourth year, really are a celebration of the strength and diversity of Cumbria's food and drink offering and we're very proud to be a part of it.
