It was beer, cheese and chocolate at Coniston Women’s Institute on Tuesday 21^st Feb when our Sales Manager, Anne Jones, armed with hops and malt, gave members a guide to how beer is brewed and a taste of how well it matches certain foods. Anne, the brewery’s “beer missionary,” is on a campaign to celebrate the increasing number of women enjoying the boom in locally brewed ale. She said:“modern flavour-packed beers appeal to women, who, as we all know, have better palates than men.”
