We’ve got a bar at one of the North’s biggest beer events later this month - the CAMRA organised Manchester Beer and Cider Festival held at the Velodrome 21-24 January.
We’re one of 10 innovative northern breweries to be invited to have a bar at the festival, others include Manchester’s own Blackjack and West Yorkshire’s Ilkley brewery (the full list can be found on the festival website). There will be 19 bars spread across the floor in the middle of the track and on the concourse level, featuring over 500 beers in all.
On our bar we’ll have Windermere Pale, Bitter, Dry Stone Stout, Sundown, Brodie’s Prime, Lakeland Lager, Cumbrian Five Hop, NZPA and Brodie’s Prime Export. Brewery staff will be on hand to chat to drinkers and answer any questions.
We’ll also be launching a collaboration beer, brewed with Marble. This is just one of a number of special brews on offer, organised by the festival between selected breweries and designed to showcase the new boundaries of British beer.
Our head brewer Matt and fellow Hawkshead brewer Mark will be joining the Marble team today, Tuesday 6th January, to brew the festival special - a mash up of Cumbrian Five Hop and Lagonda IPA. For trade enquiries and pre-orders please contact Marble.
